Advice on Car Purchase

Hi all. The mother is looking to change car. She's looking for a hatchback around 05/06 with max 70,000 miles with a budget of around €4,500. Max engine size would be 1.4.

So far she's been looking at a 05 Fiesta and 06 Focus that look decent. One big thing she's after is to get the most fuel efficient car possible for her budget.

What are the above like on petrol? Are the Citroen C4 any good? She was told there decent on fuel. Anyone with other recommendations would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure why there is a limitation of 70k miles when looking at 7 or 8 year old cars. The average mileage for a petrol car is 12k miles per year so most 7 or 8 year old cars will have more than 70k miles on them and cars don't magically explode when they go above this.

Alloys are missing off that yaris strata

Edit, mystery solved, its a UK spec colour collection (still should have alloys though)


I'd rather this 1.3 yaris (same uk spec, recently imported I'd say) provided the front bumper is ok,moods a bit off to me. 1.3 such a nice engine in the yaris
