Heading to cit in September going direct into 2nd year cause I am a quilified electrician but its been 5 years since I was in Fas. Just wondering if anyone here has just done 2nd year and could give me a heads up what I could be doin over the summer and if there is any good books or websites to look at and what i can expect from the maths so I won't be miles behind in September.

You need to find out what's on the syllabus.

Check out khanacademy and patrickjmt for the Maths. Book wise Engineering Maths By KA Stroud is very good.

Although being a qualified electrician "adds another string to your bow" you will be surprised how little overlap there is between the two courses.
Can you put up a link to the course?

As Inbox has said it would be a good idea to put up some details of the course syllabus. It would be hard to recommend anything otherwise.
