Ramillies Motor Company, off Naas Rd

Does anybody have experience (good or bad) with this dealer, just off the Naas Rd? They seem to have some decent deals on 2-4 year cars (granted some have high mileage).

We've test driven a few of their cars & they seemed fine. Most are UK imports (I'd only consider one that has full documented UK service history in addition to a clean HPI/Motorcheck)

My main reservation is that they are non SIMI & only offer a 3 month warranty.

Anybody here ever bought from them?

SIMI membership means sweet feck when it comes to the consumer. All they are is a dealer club made up of themselves who campaign for their own agenda.

I'm not familiar with the area but from reading on this forum dealers in that area don't seem to have a great reputation and garage names seem to change quite regularly. So make what you want from that.

Yeah, it's debatable how useful SIMI is in practice, but since Naas Rd dealers do tend to get bad press (in general), SIMI would give a tad more peace of mind. It's not a showstopper either way. I'd have a mechanic check over any car in details anyway.

Was just curious to see if anybody here had bought from them.
