    What do you ye think would be the smallest tractor to take a 10ft, 10ft 6 mower used for topping and mowing. Preferably lely as their light

    Id say you would want 100hp anyhow . We have a 9ft on a 956xl and you would know the weight of it on one side of the tractor .

    what make mower is that? It depends on the weight i suppose the lely 3.2 metre is 660 kg i think

    I havent a clue of the weight but its one of the cheap makes , marragon I think .

    Has yours a conditioner? They seem to add on another 300 kg.. I dont think i would be able to run a mounted mower on mine though

    No conditioner on ours . Id say an 885 might be a bit light for it but a smaller mower would be grand all the same

    I've ran a Class disco 2650 2.6m mower on a 82-90 Fiat, no problem with weight so work from there.

    If you have hilly land, thats when you need a tractor with a bit of weight, on level land you would get away with a smaller tractor
