Race category upgraded but new licence hasn't come yet

I passed the A4 to A3 points threshold weekend before last and duly received various automated emails from Cycling Ireland, one of which had my new licence number. When I signed in to the website yesterday I could see that my new numbers and card had been physically issued to me. Only snag is that I haven't received them in the post yet and I have a race on Sunday. Anyone know what happens now? Do I race in my old numbers or get a hand-written number or what's the craic?

You're supposed to sign on as an A3 now. Bring your old numbers and lets the comms worry about what ones you have to wear.

Sign on as your new category and the comm will loan you numbers for the day when you explain. The onus is on the rider to sign on in the correct race and to be aware that they are upgraded[as you are ]

Thanks, lads. The gist of what you're both saying seems to be that so long as I do the right thing, it's the commissaire's problem to figure out how to accommodate me. I'll relax a bit so...

Exactly, you're responsable for signing on as the correct at but the comm are responsable for the rest...

Well done on the upgrade btw, keep going and we'll see you on the Ras next year...
