I was hoping to do business management fetac component certificate level 6 can some explain the difference between this and say a level 6 course at a college are they the same? Or is their a difference please answer and thank you !

A component certificate is part of a major award. So if you did a component certificate in Business Management, that is just one module of a Business Management major award. You can do the component certificate but in order to get the FETAC Advanced Certificate you'd have to complete the seven other modules. You can see the modules available here.
