Yes you can take it during your course, I started college with a mature student who did it in 1st year. I don't think it should be too taxing in terms of extra studies.

The examination consists of the following papers:

    Thanks for your answer!
Honestly, i hope to tell you about my status and hope to hear an advice from you.

I will start Legal Studies at NUI Galway in this september(mature students), and this is a B.A degree. (My education and working backgrounds were not reached for enter the BCL degree.)

According to NUI Galway, Legal Studies student will attend LL.B course after his/her degree, but, my financial matters do not reach one more year for third level education.

So, i consider to take Preliminary Examination and then take FE-1.

Is it possible story or I have to attend LL.B course after my degree?

    Thank you

Please don't take this as xenophobic but I think you need to fully immerse yourself in some English language WRITING courses before commencing university. From your username, I imagine that you fulfill the matriculation requirements and may have lived and/or worked in an Englsh language environment for some time. However, your written sentence structures are not standard English and will see you heavily penalised in a university course such as law which includes a significant written component. Immersion or conversational courses are unlikely to assist, a focus on writing, syntax, grammar and sentence structure is advisable. Better to try and cover this off over the Summer than trying to combine it with a course in the Autumn.
