Hi, just a quick question re NCT. If the ESC light is on in the dash and wont go off, does this mean an automatic fail? I've been told by an indy mechanic that they dont fail for this anymore. ESC is an extra on the car and because its not essential, the car will still pass.Is he right? I doubt it.

I think the rule is that if your car has specific safety features, they must be in working order.

    NCT manual. Item 60.
Includes ESC and is a fail.
