    Hi lads,

Just looking for some info regarding Callaway drivers. I got to hit a standard XHot yesterday and really liked it, it had a Regular flex which felt a bit soft but still worked very very well. Could someone recommend somewhere good to go and try the XHot & XHot Pro with all the various loft & shaft combinations, I'm in waterford city and I can't really find somewhere locally where I could do this. Really appreciate any pointers in the right direction.
    Cheers,
    Woody.

I can't recommend somewhere you can get fitted but I can highly recommend the XHot range of Clubs. I tested out a good few XHot drivers and while the Regular flex shaft (Project X) initially felt soft when I picked it up, it felt great out on the course. The difference between my old Burner and this club is staggering tbh in terms of distance and ball flight. Ended up buying the XHot PRO irons and a Hybrid on the back of how impressed I was. Not a single regret. Loving the new gear. Not playing a lot due to circumstances so I'm drifting a little handicap wise this year but I'm sure I'll be going further south than I would have without them, once I get back practicing a bit.

Thanks for the reply. I have to say the same for the shots I hit with the club they seemed to fly off the face, it nearly had me buying one that night, but would have the niggling doubt over the shaft, so would love to try the different options and the Pro model aswell. Thanks again.

I cannot recommend where you could get fitted, however I was window shopping earlier for a hybrid and I came across this deal at Halpenny.

Yeah, lots of places have that deal, one of the reasons I was strongly considering the Driver as the Hybrid would be a nice bonus. Thanks for the link.

Slightly offtopic but i've been looking at the Xhot driver and was wondering if anyone knows if they still have the test bay in the back of halfpennygolf in Lucan where I could try it out? Haven't been there since it was Golfworks!

Was there early this year & they do still have a bay at the back of the store. Was basic set up but there is definitely a spot to hit a club
