Theres a groomer in Balbriggan who offers grooming classes (quite expensive) - met him at a Pet Expo - perhaps you could ask him?

Just googled it - its this place (I remember the dog from the picture!):

She asked there for work experiance so she fully understand what's involved but they said no because of insurance. .she hopes to do the course with diffy.

How about the DSPCA, they take volunteers and they have a Pet Spa and dog grooming now. Its very far from Balbriggan though. Rathfarnham.

Try The Doggy Man. He's based in balbriggan and as far as I know he also runs the pet shop (the one where the old tesco was) with his wife.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks , again I tried him and it was a no go.
I think maybe they don't want to give the work experiance as that person may progress to become competition for them.
    I don't know ??? Thanks a million.cathy
