Toner cartridge query

    Hi all,

I'm printing off a load of documents off a Samsung CLP 310 printer in grayscale and predictably the print is starting to become very faint. These docs are just for study purposes, so they don't have to be overly presentable or anything like that. I'm just wondering if I could switch the blue toner cartridge with the almost empty black one and continue printing in grayscale. Would that work (and would I get all blue text like I'm envisaging) or would it banjax the printer?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't switch the colours round probably won't be recognised anyway...you could take out the black cartridge and shake it up a bit and you might get a few more miles out of it.

Have you got the settings set to print draft quality or something like that to save on toner.
