Can anyone explain why the Walls of Jericho was changed,it looked badass back in the day-am I right in assuming it looked too good and was actually injuring people?

Same idea with Sheamus and the High Cross-was he injuring people or was Shambo hurting his back doin it or something?

Also is it just me or has the belly to back suplex made a comeback recently? Del Rio has been using a bit and I thought I saw someone else use it too?

I think the Walls being just a plain Boston Crab is down to it being easier to apply for Jericho, and less painful for his opponent.

The high cross seems to have dropped out of Sheamus' set when he moved up to main event status. Lots of heavier guys on the top of the card, plus im sure some of the upper level wrestlers would be reluctant to take that move.

Ive noticed the German has gone through a revival too!

You got it. It hurt people especially the taller you are.

Concussions. There's no way to take it without clattering the back of your head on the mat really.

In relation to the Walls Of Jericho, Chris himself has stated that it was nigh on impossible to stick it on the likes of Kane when he used the torqued version aka The Liontamer.

The Piledriver is pretty much banned outside of Taker using the Tombstone. Remember when Punk and Cena used it a while ago, the internet nearly exploded. That's the beauty of unpredictabilty, it gets people talking. I cant recall if they were given the nod to use the move... knowing Punk, he wouldn't care :P

Ya the piledriver was great to see.. Ditto Cesaro with the Crossface Chickenwing.. Bob Backlund made it look so painful when he sunk it into the Hitman!

the shooting star press is banned as well isn't it? Evan Bourne had to do a lot to get special permission to use it didn't he?

Don't really see that many german suplexes these days, though Bryan does bust it out from time to time when he's wrestling lads his size or smaller.

Remember Edge in his book reckoned that some of his and others on the rosters neck problems came from the huge amount of them they took from the likes of Angle and Benoit.

It was banned for a while when Kidman knocked someone silly with it (not sure who, but I wanna say it was Chavo), but I never heard was it fully unbanned or not. Bourne had been doing it before he joined the WWE, so I guess he proved he could do it safely, and they allowed him to continue.

The 450 splash that Justin Gabriel uses was banned once too. The 450 splash had been banned after Juventud Guerrera botched it once, breaking bones in Paul London's face. Dunno why Gabriel is allowed to use the move now.

Speaking of altered moves, why do some finishers become just a signature move? Like I remember in ECW, Sheamus used the Irish Curse as a finisher yet now everyone kicks out if he does it.
