Hi all, am attending a course for 6 days starting June 24 in Carlow IT and need accommodation for 5 nights, any recommendations, B&B or similar but not too expensive. Thanks.

Only getting round to seeing this now, sadly. For such short term housing, it may be hard to find something other than a B&B, but Carlow is not a huge town, so wherever you get won't be too far from the college itself.

On Daft.ie, there's this place that mght work out, or this Google search has some listings that may be of help.

That first one is literally across the road from the college too. Hopefully you find/have found somewhere to stay.

Hi, I stay in a b and b regularly when I'm in Carlow. It's called Shalom and it's beside the Dolmen hotel which is about 3/4 of a mile from the IT on the Kilkenny road. When I'm there they give me a rate of €25 a night excluding breafast which you can get in the IT anyway if you like.

Worth trying it though they may be booked up over the summer.
