I'm not being smart with you but there's a lot of variables to take account of.

    Civil/military?
    Ireland/abroad?
    Licensed/unlicensed?
    Airline/MRO?
    Permanent/contract?
How open are you to travel and shift work?
Are you looking at an apprenticeship or a degree course?

What I will say is its a job with POTENTIAL to make pretty good money if you are flexible and hard working, but the best paying positions are generally short term and thus not v secure.

I was very vague with my post apologies. Just curious, working in Ireland for say, air lingus, as a fully qualified worker. Approximate salary?

Hopefully someone who works there will be able to give you an accurate answer, if I were to make an educated guess I'd say €30-40k pa, more/less if licensed/unlicensed. I could be well off there but I'd say its in the ballpark. Around the average industrial wage. Not enough if you ask me considering the responsibility. If you were licensed and type rated and working on a contract basis travelling where the work is you could make substantially more. That life is not for everyone though.
Are you looking at training for this career?

Yeah aviation in general is an interest of mine. Applied for the air lingus pilot cadet ship so if I'm not successfull in that I'm thinkin of going down this road
