Not too sure to be honest. As you said, there isn't a whole lot there. They do give a full address and phone number on the site which is a good start. Doing a map search on the address reveals that it is in a block of flats in a big enough estate, though yes, I know that doesn't mean anything as a lot of places operate from their owner's homes.

Unless there is a current glitch in the matrix, there is no whois info available for the website either and the registrant has not disclosed their information which I find VERY strange.

Yes i think its strange too, think il give them a miss this time around, which is a shame, because they are quite cheap!

Its unclear whether this site is dodgy or not but I tried to submit a link to flubit.ie and they accepted it.

    I submitted this link 108+19 postage = 127pounds

    Offer I got from flubit 98+20= 118pounds

    Same item online 150+10? approx.

So it might be handy to use as flubit links.
Plus flubit will use their own network of suppliers but you only have to deal with flubit.

Last time I used them their item arrived from an amazon seller.
Far safer than taking a chance with the OP's linked site.

You have to use parcel motel with flubit (use the Northern Ireland Parcel Motel address).
Parcel motel cost 3.50 per stay but could be more if your parcel is bigger than the locker.

I've had one link denied by flubit because they deemed shopping boutique to be outside the UK.
But I had two other links accepted so it must be down to the person who looks at your link... maybe some of their staff are more awake than others :pac:

I couldn't find that on the site.

I wouldn't go near them, just looks too dodgy. They have a huge selection of stuff on sale, yet there are no google hits about them.

On their T&C page the name "shopping boutique" is not in text, its an image file. Dunno why but just looks all the more fishy to me.

Now that is strange! All the info was on the site when I mentioned it here. Not a trace of it now.:confused::confused:

Not sure if this is the right place!

But has anyone any experience with www.shoppingboutique.eu ?

Stuff seems quite cheap, but the site doesnt look so professional

No other info online about them at all

These guys seems to think they are legit? http://www.scamadviser.com/is-shoppingboutique.eu-a-fake-site.html

    Please advise!

I saw this page on amazon site as "Product Ads from External Websites" and checked it out. Prices really cheap when compared to amazon and was about to buy a memory module but stopped short as it was too good to be true. Did a google search on them and very little info came up, most of it as a dodgy site.

Another thing that I read about them is that don't allow you to pay on their website and send you an email to let you know how to pay them. Will have to wait and see.

Will try flubit as the one of the reply stated.

Looks like flubit will not accept any more links from these guys :(

I would stay clear of www.shoppingboutique.eu. I placed an order for a fridge from them the other day. I had to print off a bardcode and take it to a shop that did the PayPoint machine. Then scan the receipt and email a copy of it to them. Alarm bells where going off in my head and for some reason I ignored them. The fridge was meant to be delivered today via UPS which I had to pay £7.50 for which again I thought was cheap as I use UPS all the time and they are not that cheap for me.

No fridge turned up and the website is completely down.
I am out of pocket by £103.00, costly lesson.

Just thought I would share this with everyone so they do not get stung as well.

    Regards

    Tony.

Yes it is a scam, don't touch it. We fell for it and tried to contact them but they blocked us and didn't deliver the item.

Please report this quickly on www.actionfraud.police.uk as we have also been conned and the more people who report this, the more proof the police will have. Also the review site www.scamadviser.com seem's to also be a scam.

I have already reported it on Actionfraud. Hopefully something may get done.

I've been done in too... I've lost £67.. the forkin baskets!

I was looking at this item ( http://goo.gl/fxZf3 ) on Amazon.co.uk and there was a banner for the same item at the bottom of the Amazon page to the Shopping Boutique site. Everything looked legit enough and the fact that Amazon had it as a targeted ad on their site I thought it was OK.
So I ordered the item and paid the ukash voucher and I thought all was OK.

I was even getting email updates telling me my item was shipped etc!
It was due to be delivered on the 2nd July but still nothing... and their site is down. I've contacted ukash today and they've told me the voucher has been cashed and there's no way they can get the money back... they told me to report it to Action Fraud which I've done... they said if the police approach them they'll give all the info over to them.

I've also contacted Amazon as well.

I'm well annoed... I thought I was good at spotting this stuff

    Hi Guys,

I am a victim of shoppingboutique.eu too. I have just reported it to the fraud website. I have lost £97 and I am gutted.

Me and my partner are moving house and I needed a good vacuum cleaner and thought this site was a trusted site so I ordered it and paid for it at a paypoint store using my credit card.

My vacuum never arrived and I have tried emailing them and no response and website has disappeared. :-(

This was the last thing I needed right now being 38 weeks pregnant, I feel like a complete fool and we could ill afford to lose this sort of money. im so upset. :(

emmie1000 you may be able to claim back your money through your credit card as some of them cover you for fraud. Give them a ring and see if they can help.

Thanks Boomslayer, I have spoken to my bank who have told me to send in all the documentation I have in relation to this and they will investigate, I have a crime number too and I would advise everyone who has been a victim to fill in the fraud report.

It is so unfair for people to do this.

I am hoping to maybe get somewhere with this but wont get my hopes up.......

Nightmare Emmie... I hope you get your money back.

I paid via debit card so I don't think I'll ever see my money again

I hope these scumbags get what's coming to them!... Karma and all that

This company is not a company it's just a scam to take your money, I ordered a new Samsung Freezer and paid for it-it all looked good, I even looked at a scam site that said it was trustworthy site.
I asked them for my money back as they looked very scamie, they agreed and sent me an email saying guess what "the cheque is in the post" ha ha ha. I'm still waiting.
I have reported it to the Police with all the details on actionfraud.police.uk
So I will just have to wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

What is this site you mention?

    I would email them too.

I was wondering if any scam companies like this might also set up fake scam spotting site, to say their own is legit.

This was the site that said - I think it was 97% good.

    http://www.scamadviser.com/

The "popularity: not known" and "number times viewed: 16" bits there are the important ones - its given a guessed score based off location of servers and claimed registration location, nothing more.

Im hoping more people come forward who have been scammed. I cant believe they would send you an email saying ha ha ha!!! These people need to be caught!! Its so unfair. Ive never known anything like this. I really feel devestated. We have all reported it to actionfraud now. Fingers crossed they get the ba@#&

    Hi All,

I was wondering if you could help me.

I'm trying to piece together how different people have been scammed... e.g. was it a banner on a web page?

In my case I was looking at a product on the Amazon Website when a banner with the same Item appears in a of the Amazon page entitled "Sponsored Links"

    amazon.jpg

My Argument is... is that they are partially responsible for allowing adds of such types to be hosted on their web page.

Did anyone else see this type of Banner?

Of Course they are denying this... telling me they don't have banners that point to sponsored links... and that I must have a virus... but my image above proves this. Do you see it on the bottom of a page... or in the reviews page of an item?

    Thanks all :)

    Hi,
The site that directed me to Shopping Boutique was a comparison site and I think it was Kellkoo but I can't be 100% sure. This is one of the reasons I trusted Shopping Boutique. Yes you are righ these trusted sites should be fully in control of who is posting on them.
