Probably Michael Lewis's Moneyball, heard them mention it a few times on Off the Ball.

Good book alright.

Did you ever find out the name of the baseball book - I'm pretty sure it's not moneyball.
I'm doing the usual Christmas gift of a book for my Da - must be sport or politics related, because that's what men do
