    Hi guys

In academic year 2011-2012 I completed 1st year of an honours degree programme, and had the £2,500 (I think that was the figure) registration fee from City of Dublin VEC paid for me

If I wanted to commence a new course in September would I now be non applicable for the registration fee as I have already received it?

    Thanks

Yes and you may have to pay fees of 5000 or 6000

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Why is it that much?

Fees cost approx 6000 per course - the government subsidises it by approx 4000 (called free fees). You pay the other 2000 or you get a grant to cover the other 2000. If you drop out you lose your entitlement to claim the free fees of 4000 plus your grant entitlement.

Thats it in a simplified manner

I see. Thanks for the information.

Now I'm in a bit of a problem!
