    I am looking for either

    1. Giro Aeon or

    2. Specialized S-Works Prevail helmet in Medium White

I can't get one (Medium White) locally because Giro have apparently moved away from their current Irish distributor and so there will be no Giro lids available until July...or so I am told.

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a Specialized S-Works Prevail helmet in Medium White.

Brand new and never worn. All packaging and extra foam inserts, exactly as it came from the shop. I think I prefer my Specialized S3 helmet.

    Interested?

Thanks Bianchi, This is obviously the same deal that Spesh dealers are rolling out in the UK. You can get a Prevail in store as part of their 'Helmet Amnesty for £85. Tomorrow I am going to pay a visit to my local Spesh stockist and bring along an 'old lid' that I have somewhere in the garage to trade it in again a new Prevail. Hopefully it's as easy as that. Will advise.

    Hi guys.

I've been talking to my local dealer and he is running the promotion. He could not dictate what sizes and colours, he was basically given a job lot. So go in early to try to get something suitable.

I'm going to keep mine now. I tried it on again and I quiet like it.

Personally I think Specialized are going to roll out a new semi-aero helmet very soon. Basically what Cavendish has been wearing recently. So they are trying to get rid of some stock in hand before the "Aero is everything" marketing blurb kicks in. They have just spent a lot of money building their own wind tunnel.

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread. Good luck getting your new lid.

Nothing is ever easy!! Re. the Specialized Helmet Amesty deal; a store wishing to participate must purchase 33 Specialized helmets. Not all the colours are included. As one owner said some of the helmets simply wont sell. You have to physically walk into the store with an old lid to buy. So in Ireland you are talking about a very limited amount of stores willing or able to participate. Discrimination!!!!
