Mortone on Thistles

Just wondering how many litres of Mortone would ye normally use in a 400 ltr sprayer for spraying thistles in grassland. I usually use 5 ltrs so just wondering how this compares to others ? Also, how long do ye usually wait before letting animals back in to graze after spraying with Mortone as I do see one neighbour…

I wouldn't spray with stock in. Lad I know sprayed with his sheep in the field last year, noticed a lot coughing afterwards. Needed steroids from the vet to get them right again.
