7 weeks work and JB

I've received 7 weeks full-time work, having been on JB for the last while. I informed social welfare, and they said simply to return to them on my first day of unemployment to re-activate my claim. However, what I didn't ask was if I will need supporting documentation saying that I've finished up? Like P45 or similar, or do they ask for a letter from employer?

Social Welfare said something about a fast-tracking process for temp work 8 weeks or under, and so there should be no delay.

    Thanks for any insight.

You'll need a P45 from your employer or a letter to confirm your finish date while awaiting P45 to issue.

As I understand it, if you have 8 weeks work or less your current claim is suspended. If you go over the 8 weeks it's a new claim. I'd say you are fine just to bring in P45 when the job finishes.
