best value high-ish spec laptop - currys/pc world

I may have to get a hold of a replacement laptop in a hurry. What would people recommend would be best value at a reasonable spec? Currently have acer 5738g (will be sorting it out in the coming weeks and selling on). Important factors...good battery power, screen size, lightweight and thin..and windows based.
