I want to know if it is a good idea to open a kiosk business which sells newspapers, sweets, lotto tickets, ciggarettes and other miscellaneous products?

Moved from the Adverts.ie talk to forum. I think this is the best place for it.

it will mostly depend on the location of the kiosk, to be successful you need passing trade i.e. lots of people passing by that will buy from your kiosk..

second thing is to find out what profit you will yield from the items you sell...
i think the profit from cigarettes and lotto tickets is minuscule... speak to other kiosk staff and try get in touch with the owners....
