My tooth chipped about 3 months ago a small piece from the back of my front boittom and the chip itself contains black on the chip.

This morning one of my teeth at the side where the tooth meets the gum chipped and again the chip was black on the sidfe that would of faced in.

I have no pain nor do any of the teeth feel brittle on any other areas.

    Any advice would be great.

Are you sure it is tooth? Possibly a bit of tartar broken off.

There seems to be a slight gap now between the tooth and the gum , I brush once or twice a day , it has me paro now!!

It's a strange place to chip a tooth and most patients of mine that come in with the same complaint in that area have just broken off a bit of tartar. Look at the back of your bottom front teeth in the mirror. Can you see tartar? Do you floss? Any previous issues with decay?

I dont floss but will do as of from today! I have been reading up here.

I have no mirrOr that will allow me look I think I will book a dentist appoint....ASAP

The piece on both time were black/brown on 1 side with tooth colour on the other if that makes sense.

Always book an appointment if you have any concerns! Could be tooth, could be tartar. A millisecond look from a dentist will let you know.
