Was subbing for a teacher last year for a number of weeks and am due to be paid by the school (as far as I know) for doing her s & s hours.

Just wondering when does this happen?
I've been in this situation before and x amount of months pass before payment is due and of course I then forgot to follow it up so never got paid in the end. Grr.
So want to make sure I get paid this time as I was covering for her a good bit.

I imagine not for another week or two-when the exams die down a bit in school and the less popular subjects are on-that's when our dep. principal or principal do the s&s payments. It might be different in schools where there is a bursar or if it's just done by the office/school secretary but they are all up to their eyes at the moment too I imagine. I'd contact the school now to enquire about it though, just to make sure your name is in the pot when they are working out the s&s payments, otherwise you may be forgotten about.
