I'm doing a cheap and cheerful conversion on my garage. Am putting 50mm insulated plasterboards on the external walls and was thinking about putting these on the ceiling too (it has a solid concrete roof), held on with the metal mushroom fixings, maybe 110mm long.
Anybody know any reason why this couldn't or shouldn't be done??
    Thanks

Put 50 mm on the ceilings myself but i used screws with metal washers as I was going into timber. Its a good job alright.

You got it in one man!
I've insulated walls with these board before and the metal fixings work great on the walls. I suppose I just wanted to check are they ok to use to bang the insulated boards straight up onto the concrete ceiling.

If you haven't started yet, cut the joints at the ceiling line at 45*. This will stop cold bridging. But it's always good to batten the walls/ceilings to stop any interstitial condensation. Good luck.

Try to seal the joints also...
