    had a great day at the rabbbits today and thought the young lad a thing or two,nice to see he can hold the rabbit as well as dummy ,also got few nice spots for them ,i personally have never seen so many rabbits in one place it was impressive but cover was hit and miss and and all good day hopefully pup is in pen pondering on the days hunt

    we were out for nine and was back in the car for half ten with young dogs then another hour with older dogs but majority was over young dogs,if i brought rifle i could of filled the van ha ha

    on a side note lads . do ye think its the phesants or the rabbits that make the spaniel? or is it the rabbit that gets them going and phesant that drives them on? share yer experiences

    I'd have to say rabbits from my experience.Then woodcock. The scent on rabbits is great to get a pup going. Start all my pups I've had on rabbits and seems to have produced the business so far. That's good shooting charlie10 ! how old is the pup now ? :)

    munster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D well what the dog lacks in hunting i make u for with the shotty and he lacks alot at the min just hoping it will click with the whore.he is hunting but just doesnt quite know where to be,llovely retriever and otter in water but the slow entry to cover and the back tracking drives me mad:mad:

    Haha spotted on your info twas cork !! Sounds like normal puppish stuff to me. good head ache to have if you ask me! :) .. in cork myself would love to have a few shots some day if it suits ya. have a bit of rabbit shooting where I am cant bate it if ya ask me!

    why does it have to be in cork!!!! i can drive ha ha . its not cork by the way and i was invited so i cant invite if u know what i mean. rabbits are few and far between here being honest
