    Does anyone know if contacts can be got on the medical card?

    My daughter is paying 40e a month atm and finding it difficult.

    Yes, we're well aware that they provide spectacles, thats not the question I asked though, is it?

    Because it is not a medical need. Spectacles will do the same job.
    Medical Card does not cover contact lenses.

    I've been using contacts for years. I've never managed to spend 40 euros a month on them though. Maybe she should shop around?
