Gardening Express

    I bought an offer for a lemon and an orange tree from groupon. I swiftly realised that the garden express website does not operate well and had to place my order over the phone which involved a lot of holding and was told my I would take delivery on 3rd - 4th June. This did not happen. The email notifying me of dispatch contains an invalid tracking number so I cannot trace.

    Everytime I tried to call over the past week I got cut off after 7 mins and told by an automated message that they are busy and I need to log a ticket via their web page. When I try to do this I get a message saying that they're ticketing system doesn't work.

    Today Groupon transferred me to the number they have. I spent 40 mins on hold trying to reach their customer service team at the end of which I was told that dispatch would ring me back in 2 days. I'm really pee'd off at this stage. I am tempted to ring Groupon and ask for my money back.

    Anyway, vent over now!

    Sounds like their Customer Support is pretty useless... I was thinking of taking up the Groupon offer of 4 japanese maples for 34.99 euro plus delivery. It lokos like a good deal as I checked the Gardening Express (uk) website and the same deal is £74.95..

    Still thinking about it .. but the crap support could just turn me off.

    My trees arrived last Friday! Seriously wasn't worth the hassle. If I could have cancelled and gone to a local gardening center I would have. Maybe I was just unlucky but I did read a lot of other bad reviews online
