having been a full member of my club i decided to have a gap year and didnt renew my membership.at the end of that year my handicap was 5.3 which is governed by category one and the g.u.i. on rejoining the club i found out that i was entered in a club competition during the gap year which i didnt play in and consequently went up .1. this has never been sorted out and nobody quite knows what to do about it.

I was on a one year leave of absence from club due to back problems (after many years of membership)and found I'd lost my h'cap and had to get it restored by way of 3 18 hole cards or 6 9 holes. After that the h'cap secretary made a determination based on my cards and my previous h'cap. Was given 1 shot more than previous h'cap and won first competition back:o

    BTW this is ILGU.

You would need to contact the GUI. They probably won't do anything tho so just go to a crappy golf club open day and get rid of it with a good round
