Hi dar100 yes I did do this course and just finished it there on the 1st June. I would recommend it to anyone interested in teaching in the further education sector. PM me with any questions you have. Also please do not mind the negativity of the previous poster, I am starting a new teaching job next Tuesday while many of my other classmates are starting jobs now and in September. Best of luck!

Yes I have classmates who will have full-time positions in Meath and Dublin starting September, also a friend started full-time maternity cover before the course was finished in May. I have a six month contract myself which will be reviewed and possibly extended at the end of the six months.

Oh I thought you meant what we used to know as a full time post. PWT.
Watch the schools and ETBs with CIDs, they can be very sly fiddling with hours as CID entitlements approach.
