    Hi Guys,

    Silly question time!

I have an orignal PS3, the 60GB version, its locked away in a press for the last 2-3 years, the blueray drive is broken on it, i'm generally a PC gamer, so i never bothered getting it fixed.

Anyway, i was looking to buy last of us, if i get it via download on the PSN i assume it would work fine?

the PS3 still powers on ok, its way out of date, i think i still have Yellow Dog on it lol..

    Thanks

You'll probably just need to update the PS3, losing the Yellow Dog functionality.
Depending on your HDD free space, you may need to upgrade to something bigger.

    of course it'll run
He's planning on running it from the hdd not from the disc.
The blu ray drive or the broken laser to be more precise isn't needed for that.
You may have to put in a bigger hdd as stated by another poster.
