Cost of nanny

    Hi there,

All going well we will have 5 pre-schoolers this summer. That includes a set of newborn triplets!
My question is how much would a nanny cost to mind this many small children on a part-time basis if/when I have to return to work next Feb/March.
We are based in Cork. Know an au pair is not suitable so will be looking for someone with experience and qualifications.
    Thanks
    :)

A nanny is an employee in your home so you are obliged to pay minimum wage and their prsi.
It usually works out about 10-12 euro an hour but in your case it might be slightly higher as 5 pre schoolers is a lot.
