Boxing in Dundalk

    Some guy after coming into the office with a poster for an upcoming boxing night in Dundalk.

    Main event seems to be Michael Kelly V Patrick Murphy for the Celtic Warrior Title!

    Then there is Eamon O'Kane V Anthony Fitzgerald for Irish Middleweight Title. Bill also includes Steve Collins Jr, Hughie Fury, Jamie Conlon, Phil Sutcliffe, Jamie Kenedy. I don't really know if this is considered a good or bad bill but I thought I'd throw it out there for anybody that may be interested.

    It's on in the Fairways Hotel Dundalk on the 12th of July.

    I seen that on Boxrec alright, Fitzgerald and O'Kane should be a decent scrap again albeit a bit of a messy fight. Hughie Fury and Jamie Conlan on the card too which is good. Don't know if the 12th of July is a messy night to be in Dundalk or not though.

    A bargin at that price !, should be a good card.

    I haven't seen said poster, however despite Kelly reigning from Dundalk, Fitzer vs O'Kane must surely be the main event. 2 much more high profile fighters with a much more respected title on the line.

    Hopefully Conlan gets a good opponent.

    good value for 30 euro i must try and make the show, we need to support these shows to keep pro boxing alive in ireland, good value shows with some decent fights on the card hopefully it will be a financial success for all involved we need more of these shows

    Anybody hear why Michael Kelly pulled out of his fight with Paddy Murphy? Was looking for result but it seems Murphy fought McDonagh instead.
