    Looking for a stockist of tile backer board in the northwest as I believe plywood is unsuitable in a bathroom.

    WBP plywood is perfectly fine to use for tiling onto in a bathroom.

    Was on a tiling forum and the pros mostly use tile backer board.

    Hard to find it here.

    Is it not more widely known as Cement Board ? At least if was when I was looking for it.

    I've used marmox a lot over the years never had a problem with it. Not the cheapest On the market though.

    thanks all, went into one store and asked for cement board and the assistant had never heard of it.

    They should really decide what the stuff is called because when I went into chadwicks and asked for backer board for tiles they had no idea what I was talking about until I said, I think it is known as cement board and they knew straight away what I was talking about :confused:
