    Hi.

I manage the satellite system for a small apartment complex which I installed and look after on an ongoing basis. Currently there is an Octo LNB Sky Dish on each building and a 1m Orbital Dish in the grounds which is set to 16e which also carries, 13e, 19e and 23e. A tenent is now requesting 26e, does anyone know if its possible to get it and still recieve 16e if I change the prime focus to 26e or am I better installing a second Triax 110cm dish for 26e.

    Thanks

You would be better off buying another triax td 110 as it would be too awkward to set up the orbital to carry 26 east with that lnb configuration

for ultimate signals on 26 east get a inverto black ultra single lnb u will only get badr 4 as badr 5 and 6 are very very weak over northern europe

you could get a gibertini 1.25 and point it to 7.2 west atlantic bird 7 and u will get mbc fox fox movies and quite a few more movie channels that u wont get on badr 4

Thanks for the reply, I already have a Ultra Black spare as its the standard LNB I use for weak sats, seems a seperate dish is the way to go, I actually only use 28e and 13e myself, the rest is just for tenents which for such a small complex I'm supprised at the range of satellites required.

All done. We now have the following:

1 Sky Dish @28E on each building with an Octo and 19e offset. 100cm Oribital with 13,16(Prime) ,19,23, and new installed 110cm Traix @ 26 Prime. :)

    Hi Pete,

Yes it is possible, I did it myself with 28, 26, 19, 16 and 13 (centered on 26)

But, and this is a big but, you will only pull less than 20 stations on 16 (if my memory serves me correctly) - whatever it was it was next to nothing stations - very low amount of stations

You can get 26 in Dublin on a Triax 88, you dont necessarily need a 110

Very interesting but I don't think they would be happy with only 20 channels so we will have to stick with the two dishes for the moment. :)

That said I think I've had my fill of satellite dishes for a while.
