Can I cash a Bank Draft.

Hi, I received a BOI bank draft today as a present. I do not have a BOI account so I am wondering if a BOI branch will be able to cash this??

Hi HigginsJ,

You cannot cash a bank draft, it is treated the same as a crossed cheque. If you have an account with another financial institution, they will be able to lodge the draft into your account for you.
