Hypothetically, If a loved one you lost came back to life how would you react?

I’m not talking about a zombie apocalypse here but let’s say that some time has passed days, weeks, month or years since your lover, child, parent, friend etc. died for whatever reason and they have just magically returned to the land of the living. Also they're not sick or injured anymore, just back to normal. How would you react?

Would you embrace them in to your life again? What if it was your girlfriend, husband etc. that died and you’d moved on and started a new relationship, gotten re-married or even had kids. What would you do then?

I’m just curious as I’m a fiction writer and I’ve been dealing with some of these themes in what I’m currently working on. I’ve never lost someone close to me so It would be interesting to have an answer from someone this would effect. I’d like to think I’d embrace them with open arms and live happily ever after but nothings that easy lol

OP - having posted here before you know that PI is strictly for dealing with issues of a personal nature. If you want input on a thought for some fiction then this is not the right forum for you.
