Dam bullock knocked back 2-3 ft of tape. . .

    moved the bullocks this evening to new grass. . and F me, but out off all the grass, one of the bullocks found brown tape in the barbwire (from a site not too far away from me, another story with rubbish blowing across)

    but he swallowed about 2-3 foot of this stuff (u know the brown tape around cardboard boxes)

    i tired to get him to pull it out, but he kept running away. . .


    Christ!. . . i wont sleep right untill i both him and i see friday!. . .

    should be fine, when cudding he could throw it out so it never passes through his system

    This reminds me of the the story tommy tiernan told about the donkey on the aran islands that swallowed a sheet of black plastic and tried to pass it out :D It was a good one

    Ah all joking aside, was it plastic or metal banding he swallowed? If it's plastic I wouldn't worry

    u know the tape, that brown sello tape. . . or scotch tape(depending where ur from). . . inch wide or so.. . .
    the brown sticky tape muckit. . .

    u know. . im sure some farmer has tried to patch a round bale with it . . . lol

    i agree..
    while its not ideal, larger cattle can get away with it..
    Calves are far more susceptable to blockages..

    having done a bit of work in a factory you wouldn't believe what comes out of cattle's stomachs. he will be grand. most animals, bar diet fed ones, have balls the size of watermelons of silage wrap and net wrap and twine in them. rope, is another popular one and the odd small chain. all knotted up like it was tied.
