If I'm looking for something in particular, I check Find-Game.co.uk, and then look at Toys.ie (Smyths), Argos, Gamesnash, and Gamestop.

With Find-Game you've got to look out for postage differences (or factor in Parcel Motel charges), unreported stock levels etc.

Smyths are free for orders over €50, or €4.99 below. Their prices match in-store prices, so if you're near one it might be better to pick up. Argos don't deliver. Gamesnash varies. Gamestop charge €2 standard / €5.50 express. Their prices differ to in-store prices.

For Skylanders (Giants) Starter Pack, cheapest seems to be Argos for €41.99, with good stock levels. Next up would be Smyths at €44.99 (+€4.99 postage if you're not near one). I know Argos is not specifically online, but it's €8 cheaper.

Mr Foster you're a gentleman, you saved me a tenner, it's about 51€ on Amazon.co.uk and 61€ on play. Will bookmark those sites you've mentioned for future.

    Thanks a bunch. Appreciated

EDIT - I reserved one and then I noticed the following "Current selling price valid until 10/06/2013" hope they honour the cheaper price tomorrow when I go to collect ??????????????????

From reading around, I think it's mainly to do with stock levels. They had surplus, so they dropped the price. It could still be €42 tomorrow, it could drop further, or it could go back up to the normal price. There's no consistency in what happens.

If it does go up, complain to a manager that you reserved it at a lower price, and they'll hopefully honour it. They don't have to though!

Please note that prices can change on a daily basis. If you reserve an item for store pick up using our Check & Reserve service, the price you pay is the price in-store on the day you collect & pay for the item.

In fairness to Argos, the price had gone up this morning so I said to a staff member who said that "it's no problem once you have it reserved they'll honour the price you reserved it at". So she gave it to me for the sale price of €42 !! No hassles at all.
