Some time ago I was told that my wisdom teeth were not coming up properly and would need to be removed, although she didn't seem to think it was an immediate concern One of them is beginning to cut through now and I'm a bit worried about it.
Should these come out ASAP or can it wait a while?

This depends on so many things....

Age, if you're young (under 21) and the teeth appear to have space and are aligned correctly, then they may continue to come up and into a good position....

The angle of the teeth and space available, if none/not enough, then likely problems....

decay in the wisdom teeth or adjacent teeth, get them out soon....

food stagnation and gum infection, need removal....

Some may say wait until they cause you recurrent pain and infection. I think that this is riduculous and any potential cause of pain and infection should be treated before it causes you significant problems....

Best to get a dental check or oral surgery consultation within the next few weeks....

    I'm 22.
The dentist said there isn't enough space in my mouth for them so they are not coming up correctly.
I'm going to be away from home for the next 6 weeks or so but will get them looked at then as I'm due a routine check anyway.

    Sounds like a plan,
