I see cause of causes has been bought by McManus and going over fences. The real article the fav. Anyone know what rating you need to enter the Galway plate? I'm pretty sure this is the real articles aim then would be banking on cause of causes give the trainer/owner involved. Does it open the door for mallet tree

Without checking I think bottom weight is usually around the low 130s

Decent race for a Monday, and I’m going to go with 2 horses that have done me a turn in the past and have been coming down the weights last year or 2. Both Sebadee and The Last Derby have been off form for a while now, but they certainly like the ground here and I don’t think its out of the question for either of them to be more competitive here of what are very low marks compared to runs a year or 2 ago. They both have a nice racing weight of 10:09 here and in what could be a very open race they are worth a small bet each.

½ Point win Sebabee 18/1 Bet Victor
½ Point win The Last Derby 32 Betfair

Step To Freedom given a lot to do in the last there but jumped well bar the first. Could make a nice chaser.

I am liking MOSSLEY in this one, back to the fences could be the key, but be lucky.

finished just ahead of a 147 rated chaser, which is some going for a first run over fences, tempted to have a few quid for next year's Arkle @ 20/1.

Yea, especially liked the way he recovered from the bad early mistake. A very good sign! They've got to be very happy with the run anyway as he should have learned a lot. My only worry about backing him antepost would be ground...good ground's a necessity for him.

this year was the exception rather than the norm at Cheltenham, it would be good (good to soft in places) for the first day any other year.
and I think the fast pace of an Arkle would play to the strengths of a flat horse like this.

Would have won if Arnaud wasn't gifted 10 lengths at the start...bloody joke that the starter let them go.
