So after having my pc for a while I noticed its getting a bit louder, I havent cleaned it since I got it but a lot of work has been done around the house so im imagining a bit of dust has got inside the case. Im going to open it today and give it a bit of a clean, but just wondering is there any specific things I should be careful about etc?

    Thanks :)

I tend to just get a couple of airdusters and try and get as much dust as possible out. Some sort of anti static cloth might be an idea for stubborn dirt that's stuck on the fans. Oh, and making sure it's all disconnected from the power of course :D

A can of compressed air and a hoover. Give the filters, heatsink, graphics card ect a few squirts of the compressed air and suck up any dislodged dirt/dust with the hoover.

If you're able to use Musgrave, they sell 400ml cans of compressed air for 3.99 euros.

You'll also get it in a camera shop.

You know how much a tin of air duster costs me? 400ml

    14 euro

Such a ****ing rip off, rip of Ireland is still alive and well. I tried ordering them from amazon but they wont ship to me because of it being a flammable object and no other shop near me has air dusters

Did a hunt around Dublin for a few cans a few weeks ago, and compared a few prices:

    Peats, Servisol Aero Duster 200ml - €11.99

    Maplins, Air Duster 200ml - €12 ish

    Maplins, Air Duster 400ml - €16.50

Dealz, henry St. - none in stock.

    Radionics, air duster 400ml, €12.25

I went with Radioncs as I'm in and out of there for work stuff.

Dealz is usually €1.49 for 200ml
