I sure will, if I find what I am looking for... but seems that Ireland is too clean for what I had in mind:)

I doubt it's too clean. You just haven't looked very hard.

most 'suitable' places in ireland were probably knocked/redeveloped over the last fifteen years.

I guess it seems like you haven't put a lot of effort into looking and are just asking for easy answers. Maybe I'm picking that up wrong though.
People often put a good bit of work into finding places like that and don't easily give away locations. I know I've been to places and I would keep location and access info to myself for various reasons.
One such place I've posted below. Amazing place to visit but if access was more common knowledge it would get shut down faster.

Yeah - there are a lot of places alright. You just need to get stuck in (but be careful. Some of these places are dangerous and not for the feint of heart and a lot of them have security)

I'm 99% certain I know that building, I used to work there and if you're getting in then someone isn't doing their job! Shocking to see how quickly it's gone to ruin!

Have a look around the industrial estates I'm sure there's some vacant buildings in those places. Although probably won't be too interesting if they've been cleared out.

If you get off the main roads on the smaller roads you'll find plenty of 1800s buildings in ruins, old workhouses and mills. They're actual ruins rather than abandoned buildings like in the shots above though.

Its not about not putting effort - I sure will put effort and flank some places that might meet my requirements and see for my own eyes as soon as I get there. Also thing is, your pics are nice, BUT different from what I am looking for, which is probably why you have the feeling of me 'not putting enough effort'. Thanks for your opinion tho, anyways, I will get my lazy as* out this weekend and see some places and see what can be done about it...

This actually saddens me... I was always about to go there, but make my own small expedition, but then I have heard that ppl are doing these 'holiday's B&B's' including 'radioactive cheezy breakfast' and the whole atmosphere of 'Real ghost town' is gone....:( ruined

please god, not that sort of thing.
looking at those pictures for more than a few seconds does scientifically provable damage to your retinas.

I don't know that people can spend any amount of extended time in the area though.

It would be great to see the exclusion stay for a few more years, it's turned into a wildlife park now that people have moved out. So you'd get two for the price of one there, abandoned city and wild life shots.
