levelling after disc harrow

    any suggestions out there - i dont have a land leveller

    just after disc harrowing a field for reseeding, its in good order but theres a few hollows here and there. any suggestions how to level without a land leveller?

    When I was younger and worked for a silage contractor he used to drag a heavy girder after the disc harrow. It was offset so it was being dragged at an agle to funnel the soil to one side. I remember him saying it would leave the field very level, like a billiards table! The fields would all have being ploughed back then though. Did you plough yours? if not then this method will be of no use to you.
