Attention-Seekers

So, there's this girl in my friendship group who constantly seeks attention from men, including my boyfriend. She's been inappropriate a few times and I even called her out on it once. But she doesn't change. For example, he was playing doubles beer pong and she called over to me "hey, Jen, can I distract your boyfriend with my boobs?" I didn't even know how to reply to that. She's 19 so she's still pretty young but I don't know how she thinks it's appropriate. Anyone have experience with dealing with girls like this?

Hi my friend was exactly the same.
She would be all over my fella bullsheeting on about how bad she wanted to be a stipper or did he think her string bikini would be too revealing to wear at the gym etc all in front of me. Plus she had her own boyfriend.
So I got the feeling she was trying to make ME feel threatened rather than coming on to him. I was lucky in that my boyfriend just ignored her and wasn't even listening to her half the time.
So I just ignored it too or I'd say "oh Mary youre gas" or something not the reaction she's looking for. She soon grew out of it

Previous poster is spot on, ignore her. God she sounds like a complete twat and I'd be cringing for her more so than anything else. A lot of guys see through that sort of rubbish and if your bf sees her as silly then I wouldn't waste my time with her.
All she is doing is trying to get a reaction from you as she is very insecure and unhappy. She'll soon tire of it when she gets no satisfaction.

Thanks for the advice, I just wanted to check with people who don't know her if I'm being jealous or if her behaviour is actually out of line. Some people see it as having a laugh. I would never say something like that, even to a good friend's boyfriend. If she asks me why I'm not speaking to her I'm going to explain it to her in a nice way. I don't want to be made out to be a jealous bitch.

I wouldn't stop talking to her, that just shows she is getting to you but when she 'acts up' just don't acknowledge it and change the subject. That will make her feel silly and inadequate and you'll be seen as mature.

That's a good idea. I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks he behaviour is out of line.
