It's next Saturday, June 15th, which is a bit soon to be announcing. The lineup is here:

Some crowd-pleasers, some classics, some previews, some rarities, the usual mix. Not bad, I think myself.

Good work OP. I wonder how early I'll have to be there though? I'd say it'll be jammers

I'm working until 4 that day, so no free films for me. :(

I'm getting 2 tickets for leon but you're allowed 4. I can keep 2 for you if you want? It starts at 6.30?

You'd be well in for a ticket if you got there about 10. I got there at quarter to ten last year and was about 11th or 12th in the queue.

Some great movies, but argh the timing's a bit inconvenient for me. Would love to have gotten to see The Great White Silence, Godfather II and Killer of Sheep but I think I'll have to sacrifice the middle movie for something shorter. I'm hoping the audience pick is either The Hunt or Tabu (which I missed out on) but I think they'll go with something like Amour or The Imposter instead. Oh well, I really can't complain when they're offering up so many great movies for nothing.

I also was a tad surprised that The Master wasn't among the votes, would loved to have revisited it.

Thanks, Faith, extremely kind of you to offer but I can't really see myself going. If I do it'll probably be to see something new.

**** that noise. The positive reaction to that consistently mediocre film continues to baffle me.

I know it's free and all that, but it's only out of the cinema a few weeks I'd imagine?

That was some queue from 10 on. Very well organised all and all, fair play to the IFI. Lots of folk missed out on Paris-Manhattan which sold out pretty quick; got my tickets for the Bling Ring though so all good!

Queue wasn't too bad this year - was snaking well up Dame Street by the time I got tickets last time, nowhere near as long today.

Still seems to be tickets knocking about for a majority of screenings if the IFI twitter feed is to be believed!
