Can I answer if I have a boyfriend, rather than a girlfriend?
We first met when I was 18, he was 16. We were playing for the same football club. We became fast friends and remained so ever since.
In January, an alcohol fuelled fumble on my sofa led to us both acknowledging that we were gay/bi. We began by just being there for each other, to sort of friends with benefits, then rapidly on to being boyfriends.
It has been so wonderful, we've never been happier and I love him so much.
