Heading off for 2 weeks to Salou, Spain next week, wondering if anyone here knows if there's anywhere in that area I could hire a decent road bike to keep the legs turning over. Cheers.

I'm there from 14-24 Jun and am hoping to do a day in the hills. PM me if you want a bit of company for a spin

Ended up going with this crowd: cyclingcostadaurada.com. I can highly recommend this to anyone coming to the area. Brand new Trek Madone, full guided tour with a support van, and friendly service. Did a 110km tour around the Hills of Catalonia, fantastic. And all for €60. Bargain.

Just back from a fantastic cycling/family holiday:D:cool: managed to hire a Focus Cayo with 105 groupset from one of the many bike hire shops, though I think I was very lucky to have found this one. 10 days hire cost €150 which was fairly good I thought. Managed to clock up over 700kms through the fantastic Catalunyan mountains. The lad in the bike shop in Cambrils put me on the right track even though his English was limited. Got two Sunday morning cycles with the club in Cambrils which consisted of 120k with 25 Catalunyan (not Spanish!!) lads who had no English.....or if they had they didn't share it:(,very quiet, good quality roads, amazing scenery(nearly as nice as Donegal:D), in 25 degrees of sunshine:cool: Definitely a happy holiday.

Cheers for the info Loinsigh & sorry we didn't get to meet up.
