Both on tonight. Both get 7.3 on IMDb.

    Which one?
    (Neither is not an answer)

Thanks again guys. We ended up watching The Next Three Days simply because it started first. Plus Law Abiding citizen was on Ch.4 so it will probably be on More4, E4 or 4seven in the coming days.
Realised shortly into it that I had seen it years ago but couldn't remember much of it. Good film.

Law Abiding Citizen is only worth watching to laugh at. The plot is so ridiculous that you have to wonder was it first conceived as some sort of odd satire on terrible action movies.

Don't watch it and take it seriously.

I thought the first half was really quite entertaining. After that, the plot did start to stretch credibility!

It stretched it so far I was wondering how anyone ever signed on to make the film!

Have'nt seen The Next Three Days yet, so can't comment on that one.

As for Law Abiding Citizen, well, once I see Gerard Butler is involved, I'm in "leave your brain at reception" mode straight away! I don't expect any deep intellectual stimulation from his movies....although occasionally they are entertaining:)

I watched this last night and enjoyed it. It was the RTE One Monday Night movie, so I wasn't expecting alot from it. It held my attention, and it didnt get interrupted by the news which RTE regularly ruin movies with by doing.

Well to be fair at least The Next Three Days is tightly plotted and has a decent enough script which lets face it not even the writer of Law Abiding Citizen would claim it has.

Oh thanks for pointing that out. I was pretty sure it was the Pianist.

I love action movies. I love big dumb action movies.

But even big dumb action movies have to have some sort of internal logic that they stick to.

Sloppy nonsense like Law Abiding Citizen is only entertaining in that I laughed at how bad it was throughout.
