hi my friends who are chinese (but irish now) are having an issue with overgrown trees, right now at 25 degrees no clouds full sun we should have a fully lit garden with lots of sun but we have none of that. we have 2 kids so we could use all the light we can get. our house front gets some morning sun but after noon onwards its all in the back, or at least should be.

regarding the house imagine the letter T their house would be in the horizontal and the neighbor's house is in the vertical line (does that make sense?) the threes grown along the diver of our 2 gardens (horizontal) they never see them their neighbours as technically the belong to another estate and im in rented accommodation. The property management is a pig and the landlords not always helpful.

neighbours trees that overhang your property can be cut back to the boundry, provided that said pruning does not lead to the demise to said tree. Prunings must be returned to the neighbour as it is their property. sadly there is no right to light in this country.
